Mit den Möglichkeiten und Begrenzungen einer Drehorgel spielt Lutz Großmann ein Mini-Musik-Theater, das das Spannungsfeld zwischen Tradition und Improvisation auslotet. Ohne Sprache wird auf begrenztem Raum mit kleinen Figuren die grosse Frage gestellt, ob wir Menschen „solo“, also alleine etwas bewirken können.

I have often been asked in the last few days how „Die graue March“ was animated. Here is a little making of. And here some more background information…

In January 2024, Die graue March (Greylands) will be screened at the Kino Xenix in Zurich before Xavier Koller’s „Das gefrorene Herz“.
And it will be screened (almost) simultaneously at the Solothurn Film Festival.
And then also at the Kino Lux in Affoltern ZH. A nice choice for interested Swiss to see the movie on the big screen…

Animateka 2023 was just wonderful! So grateful that we were allowed to be part of it. It’s actually worth making animated films just for that alone..

We met very nice people at a very nice festival! Thank you, Banjaluka International Animated Film Festival 2023!

Our film was screened at the Nuit Suisse at Animatou 2023, which is such a beautiful festival! As a surplus, we got awarded a Mention by the Swiss jury. We are so happy and honoured!
